What is a Vetted Badge?
A Vetted Badge is a verified digital credential linked to a worker phone number. It confirms identity through a NIMC-linked provider, records a guarantor for full badges, and gives employers a shareable trust profile.
Who owns my Vetted Badge?
The worker owns it. The badge travels with them across employers and cannot be taken over or edited by an employer.
What is a guarantor and why does it matter?
A guarantor is someone who knows the worker personally and can vouch for their identity. Full badges include that extra layer, while basic badges do not.
What does Vetted do with my NIN?
Vetted verifies the NIN through a licensed provider, then keeps only a verification token. The raw NIN does not appear on the badge.
Can an employer log a false report against me?
Reports are not auto-confirmed. Workers get a right-of-reply window, employers must attach evidence, and an admin review decides the outcome.

Is the incident registry check really free?
Yes. Anyone can run a first phone-number search for confirmed incidents without creating an account.
What does a Vetted Badge confirm?
A full badge confirms identity verification, selfie verification against NIN data, guarantor confirmation, and the badge trust record. A basic badge is a lighter signal without the guarantor layer.
What is Sponsor a Badge?
It lets an employer pay for a worker to complete a full portable badge, so the worker keeps the credential across future jobs instead of only inside one employer record.
Can workers file complaints against employers too?
Yes. Vetted is bilateral, so workers can also report salary withholding, unsafe conditions, or other employment issues through a reviewed process.
Is Vetted compliant with Nigerian data protection law?
Vetted is positioned around NDPA 2023 and NDPC expectations, with worker access, consent, and data-minimization principles built into the product language.
