Privacy Policy
This page explains the basic privacy model behind identity verification, badge issuance, and trust records on Vetted.
What Vetted collects
Vetted collects the information required to verify identity, issue badges, manage guarantor declarations, and support employer or worker trust workflows. This may include names, phone numbers, verification tokens, and supporting records tied to platform activity.
How identity data is handled
The platform language is designed around data minimization: verify through a licensed provider, retain verification status or tokens where needed, and avoid exposing raw identity credentials to employers. Badge views should not reveal raw NIN values.
Who can see what
Employers and other authorized viewers see only the information needed to make a trust decision, such as badge status, guarantor status, and relevant incident outcomes. Internal access should stay limited to support, review, and compliance needs.
Your rights
Workers and employers can request access to their records, ask for corrections, and raise deletion or privacy questions through Vetted support. The product copy and policies are intended to align with NDPA 2023 expectations and user consent principles.
